Global Warming Advocates
Threaten Blizzard Of Lawsuits

by Gene J. Koprowski - March 29th, 2010 - FOXNews.com

Environmentalists, unable to squeeze "cap and trade" rules through the U.S. Senate, have a new strategy for combating what they believe is man-made global warming:

They're going to sue.

They're revving up their briefs and getting ready to shop for judges who will be sympathetic to their novel claim that the companies they believe contribute to global warming are a "public nuisance."

[Snip]

"This end-run around civil discourse undermines the very foundation of American democracy, violates the Constitution and has proven fiscally disastrous," [David]Ratowitz told FoxNews.com.

As I have repeately argued, there is no justice in America. Our courts are corrupt. They are systems of extortion and blackmail, not civilized processes for resolving disputes based on the rule of law. They make the law up as they go.

Judge Orders
Notorious Terrorist
Freed From Gitmo

by Thomas Joscelyn - March 23rd, 2010 - The Weekly Standard

According to the Wall Street Journal, a district judge has ordered Mohamedou Slahi – a known al Qaeda recruiter who worked for Osama bin Laden – freed from Guantanamo. The Journal’s account does not explain the judge’s reasoning and the decision was not immediately available online. But the decision is inexplicable in light of Slahi’s notorious track record. There is no doubt that Mohamedou Slahi is one of the worst terrorists held at Gitmo.

If there was any doubt that progressive judges are waging war against America, this action should be adequate proof. Since Justice Robert H. Jackson coined the phrase, judges have worked to assure that decisions were not inherently anti-American. This one is. It is an insane ruling.
