Let's Prosecute Drug Smugglers,
Not Border Patrol Agents

by Phyllis Schlafly - February 16th,2007 - Bend (Oregon) Weekly

The government prosecuted Ramos and Compean criminally for acts that called only for an administrative reprimand, based the case on the testimony of an admitted drug smuggler brought back from Mexico and induced to testify by a grant of immunity, withheld crucial evidence from the jury, used the wrong law (that carries a mandatory additional 10-year sentence), and now won't release the transcript of the trial without which the border guards cannot appeal.

As noted in the article, the prosecutor lied to the judge, lied to congress, lied to the press and lied to the American people. Nothing he has ever done will excuse the evil George W. Bush has perpetrated by his failure to protect these two men from an evil and outrageous prosecution.

If you note from the date, the article is nearly two years old. However the failure of George W. Bush to pardon these two men, Ramos and Compean, while he has pardoned a hip hop drug peddler who was convicted of smuggling millions of dollars worth of cocaine, brands Bush the most contemptible scum imaginable. No one with an ounce of integrity can ever again defend Bush. He is the greatest bigot of our generation.

Gay Marriage And The ... Courts

by William McGurn - November 25th, 2008 - Wall Street Journal

What people hold as a moral ideal, however, and what they will accept as a workable compromise are two different things. Left to their own devices, most Americans can work these differences out in politics much as they do in their everyday lives, as untidy as these solutions may be. Unfortunately, when the courts short-circuit this process, they do three things corrosive to our politics.

First, they act as dishonest referees ...

I personally think the writer should have stopped here. I am not sure anything more persuasive exists in his other two points, even though they are equally correct. The reality is that the rule of judges is subverting any respect for our courts. I despise our courts, our Judges and our lawyer dominated corrupt legislative bodies. Our Constitution has become a joke because separation of powers has become a joke. Hillary Clinton is a perfect example. the Constitution bars her from accepting the Secretary of State position. However just as the last time when a legislator was considered for a executive branch office, the prohibition will be ignored.

Since little else about our Constitution has any respect, why should anyone expect that separation of powers is held in any less contempt by the corrupt courts, judges and lawyers that now dominate our nation.

Civilization Walks The Plank

by Caroline Glick - November 21st, 2008 - The Jerusalem Post

THE WEST'S perverse interpretations of human rights and humanitarian law, which bar it from handling one of the most acute emerging threats to the international economy, is a consequence of the West's abdication of moral and legal sanity in its dealings with international terror. In the 1960s and 1970s, when international terrorism first emerged as a threat to international security, the West adopted international treaties and conventions that tended to treat terrorism as a new form of piracy. Like piracy, terrorism was to be treated as an attack on all nations. Jurisdiction over terrorists was to be universal. Such early views were codified in early documents such as the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft from 1970 that established a principle of universal jurisdiction over aircraft hijackers.

Our idiot Judges have subverted any views that allow these evil people to be prosecuted. Today, pirates and terrorists alike are considered to have "civil" rights that make it impossible for our troops, or the troops of any land, to fight against these people. They are granted humanitarian rights that could easily work like the idiocy worked in the case of Ramos and Compean. There the illegal was given special privileges to prosecute our border agents, including allowing him to testify to known lies. These two border agents are now serving 10 years in jail for shooting a drug smuggler in the butt. The drug smuggler was actually forgiven and allowed to continue to smuggle drugs while he was waiting to testify, which was hidden from the jury by the Judge and also never prosecuted.

This is the kind of insanity that Caroline Glick is talking about. Our Judges care more for their power than for sanity in defense of our citizens.

Vice President [Cheney],
Former AG [Gonzales]
... Indicted

By Christopher Sherman - November 18th, 2008 - Associated Press

A South Texas grand jury has indicted Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on state charges related to the alleged abuse of prisoners in Willacy County's federal detention centers.

This is merely the first of a number of anticipated criminal indictments promised by the extremist members of the Democrat Party who supported Barack Obama. In addition to these charges, there have been promises of impeachment proceedings for both Cheney and Bush, even after they have left office. There are numerous state Attorney Generals being encouraged to pursue charges for supposed torture of prisoners of war, lying to the American people and using police state tactics against illegal aliens, all of which are threats hanging over Republican office holders.

With the promised Federal Civil Police Force to pursue them, few Republicans can feel comfortable that it is not about to become a criminal matter to be a Republican if you seek public office. Socialists always take this strategy so it is not a surprise.

Every day that passes Martin Niemoller is in my thoughts. As if that memory will do any good in a nation with so little concern for history.

After More Than 400 Lawsuits,
Disabled Man Can Sue No More

by Carol J. Williams - November 18th, 2008 - Los Angeles Times

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in April denied a rehearing of the Evergreen case by the full court. But nine of the court's 28 judges, including Chief Judge Alex Kozinski, dissented, arguing that the 1st Amendment right to petition the government for redress of grievances is "one of the most precious of the liberties safeguarded by the Bill of Rights."

This is typical of the court's defense of these abusive litigants. In truth, the only concern of the courts is defense of their system of extortion and blackmail.

A System's Fatal Flaws

By Susan Carroll - November 16th, 2008 - Houston Chronicle

Miguel Mejia Rodriguez, 36, is locked up on the fifth floor of the San Jacinto Jail downtown, accused of raping and sodomizing a second-grader.

It is the fourth time in 12 years that Rodriguez, an unemployed drifter from Zacatecas, Mexico, has landed in Harris County Jail. Over the years, Rodriguez has served time for drug possession, theft, trespassing and indecent exposure. He told jailers he was in the country illegally in December 2006, after a security guard caught him touching himself in an apartment complex parking lot, records show.

But ICE officials did not file paperwork to detain Rodriguez. He was released after serving his 25-day sentence.

"I never lied about who I am, or where I'm from. I'm 100 percent Mexican," Rodriguez said in a jail interview with the Chronicle in September, after he was accused of the rape and sodomy of a 7-year-old.

According to court records, the girl told a friend Rodriguez started abusing her after her mother died in 2005, while he was living with her family.

The girl was hospitalized and treated for syphilis, court records show.

Judges are much more concerned with their power derived from "criminal" rights than they are with any risk or danger to the American people. This man, a clear predator who rapes young girls, has been freed THREE TIMES by the arrogant judiciary. HIS RIGHTS are of paramount concern to the American judiciary precisely because he is a criminal. The rights of our children mean absolutely nothing to these judicial scum.

Gay Rights, Gay Rage

by Robert Stacy McCain - November 17th, 2008 - The American Spectator

The Lawrence ruling [effectively making homosexuality a legal right even as it denied such a right existed] was the culmination of what Justice Antonin Scalia called "a 17-year crusade" to overturn the 1986 Bowers v. Hardwick decision (which had upheld Georgia's sodomy statute) and, as Scalia noted in his dissent, the Court's "emerging awareness" argument was a disingenuous way to avoid actually declaring a "fundamental right" to sodomy. The legal effect was the same, however, and Lawrence was repeatedly cited in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's decision five months later mandating the legalization of gay marriage in that state.

In all of these rulings, the theme that is overarching is the movement to "the rule of judges" in replacing and destroying "the rule of law". When the opinion of judges means more than the opinion of the people, there is little hope to save a nation. America is doomed with the election of the Magic Marxist Messiah.

Nothing can stop the march towards socialism and tyranny. Certainly not the courts. They are now leading the march and Obama will load them up with even more of these corrupt liberals.

The Left's Invisible Constitution

by Brett Joshpe - November 12th, 2008 - The American Spectator

In terms of how the "Invisible Constitution" might impact the new presidential administration, Barack Obama recently said "I want judges who have a heart, have an empathy for the teenage mom, the minority, the gay, the disabled. We want them to show empathy. We want them to show compassion." However, a true nation of laws requires that judges do their best to interpret laws as they are written, or, at the very least, to remain as restrained as possible in deviating from the text, not to inject their own personal view of what is just or compassionate.

That is what is truly frightening about the liberal interpretation of "Constitutional rights". They are totally the subject to "the rule of judges" and "the rule of law" vanishes from our land.

The Greens Get Harpooned

by Editors - November 13th, 2008 - Wall Street Journal

Justice Ginsburg's dissent is telling about the willful cast of mind on the judicial left about war powers. She does not seem troubled that a nonexistent threat to whales impaired the readiness and effectiveness of the military, which in any case she dismisses as "an alleged risk." Rather, the main offense is the Navy's "rapid, self-serving resort to an office in the White House" and the President's subsequent actions as Commander in Chief.

Such thinking is an indication of where the U.S. is headed if the Supreme Court's composition swings left in the coming years. We are very close to making judges co-Secretaries of Defense ...

The power of a judiciary not limited to anything but their desire to enforce "the rule of judges" leaves our nation at terrible risk. The incredible willingness of conservatives to embrace conservative rulings that should never be allowed, frightens me. There is absolutely no right of the judiciary to decide how to treat prisoners of war! Yet in numerous cases over the status of Guantanamo and its prisoners, the judiciary has seized power to decide what rights these enemies have. THEY ARE ENEMIES OF OUR NATION! They have no rights under our Constitution. Yet we have wasted millions of man-hours arguing how many rights they have and how to protect them from our soldiers. The courts have ruled under what circumstances American soldiers can be required to come in to court and defend their actions on the battlefield. This idiocy seriously jeopardizes the willingness of soldiers to fight, when their actions can be second guessed by people who clearly hate our nation as most liberals seem to do.

Soldiers have been put at risk by the arrogance of our dim witted and power hungry judiciary. This is all about raw power. We are throwing away our freedoms with both hands by electing a socialist President. The most frightening reality is that something may happen to one of the 4 conservatives on our court and we will lose our freedoms forever in an orgy of liberal power rulings. That is what the election of the Magic Marxist Messiah really means.
